SUMMARY:VETERANS DAY OBSERVANCE
DESCRIPTION:We hold this ceremony on the Sunday nearest to November 11 and it is held from 2:30 – 5pm.  This ceremony also begins with the presentation of the colors\, a prayer\, followed by a short talk from a veteran on the significance of Veterans Day.  We then read the names of all veterans and their branches of service followed by taps.  We then have some games and awards passed out and enjoy a live band provided by the community for the enjoyment of all present. \nFor sponsorship info contact Kay Burkhalter @ kayburkhalter@sbcglobal.net or call 713-447-7740
