Veterans Day Ceremony on November 11, 2023

Outstanding Veterans Day ceremony orchestrated by TBCSVI board member Emilio Rodriguez. Despite the cooler temperatures, we had an impressive turnout. Scout Troops 156 and 329 presented the flags, and Madison R., President of BHS Bears Cares about Veterans, graciously presented flag pins to our honored Veterans, symbolizing the younger generation’s deep gratitude. A heartfelt thank you to HEB Tuckerton and Fry for generously providing gift bags for our Veterans. Special appreciation to State Representative Mike Schofield for taking time out of his busy schedule to join and converse with those in attendance.

Memorial Day Ceremony 2023

With great sadness in our hearts, but also with deep appreciation and pride for those service men and women who have fallen in defense of our freedom, the Bridgeland Community Supports Veterans, Inc. held its annual Memorial Day Ceremony at Pioneer Park in Lakeland Village on May 29, 2023. Scout Troops #156 and #329 provided an excellent presentation of the flags, followed by an opening prayer. Emilio Rodriguez and Walt Bohn gave brief speeches, and the national anthem and taps were played. With tears in their eyes, attendees named those to be remembered and tied memorial ribbons around the trees. It was a deeply moving ceremony.
